Wofford College finished out a successful spring season in 2009. Wofford competed against many of the top programs from South Carolina. Wofford played against the following:
Anderson College, The University of South Carolina, Winthrop University, Wingate University, Limestone College, and Erskine College.
The Coaching Staff was happy with the progress made on the pitch this spring. The starting back four, Randy Mcleoud, Phillips Leach, Nick Schuermann (C), and Branson Hyatt did not give up a goal all spring. The back four was anchored by rising Sr. Thomas Hunter. Other highlights in the spring including holding a talented USC team to 0 goals over a 105 minute game and a 2-0 win over Winthrop.
With no injuries that will overlap into next fall, Wofford College Soccer is looking to having a successful campaign in 2009.
