The boys fought till the end and were eventually rewarded for their efforts. Kentrel Owens beat his man, the goalkeeper and drew a penalty. Nick Schuermann stepped up an converted with 1:18 remaining in the second overtime to give us our second win of the season and push our record to 2-0-2. This is Wofford's best start since the 1990 season. It has been a good week for the boys, 3 shutouts, 2 wins and a tie, and a combined 64-15 advantage in shots. We have a 12 day break until our next home game. We play Belmont at home on Friday 9/25 at 7pm and Lipscomb on Sunday at 2pm. Come out and support the terriers.
